January 1, 2002: Piping Specialties Expands Capabilities, Forms PSI Services
Piping Specialties, Inc. Forms New Operating Division
(PORTLAND, MAINE) -- Piping Specialties Inc., headquartered in Danvers, MA,
announced today that it has expanded the PSI Controls operating division with the
addition of PSI Services, to be headquartered in Portland.
Piping Specialties distributes valves, instrumentation and mechanical specialties to
customers in the Pulp & Paper, Semiconductor, Power Generation, Food & Beverage,
and other process industries. The PSI Controls Division specializes in distribution of
instrumentation and control systems. PSI Services will act as an integrator to supply
these products along with value-added services such as system design, integration, and
field service.

PSI Controls, a Division of Piping Specialties, showcased the latest in
consistency measurement and control during the recent TransTours Onsite
MRO Solution Center Mobile Tradeshow. The program featured an onsite
walk-through mobile trade show to all maintenance, production, and
engineering personnel at Georgia Pacific, International Paper, and Great
Northern Paper mills in Maine. |
